Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions; communicate in English.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, sanitation practices, and product traceability.

Responsibilities

• Follows outlined duties for plant sanitation including painting, scraping, and cleaning.
• Adheres to sanitation procedures during downtime clean-ups and special clean-ups.
• Performs mechanical tasks using hand and power tools where required.
• Complies with all safety regulations and safe chemical handling.
• Reports accidents/injuries and unsafe conditions to QA Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintains required logs and assists janitorial staff as directed.
