The Judge Group is seeking a Plant Manager for a food manufacturing client in Monee, IL area. This role leads production, maintenance, and regulatory compliance to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will manage budgets, implement policies, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with leadership to meet strategic goals. This on-site position emphasizes strong operations leadership and strong adherence to OSHA standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of senior operations management in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
• Experience with fast-paced plant operations and high standards for quality.
• Continuous Improvement certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, facilities, and regulatory compliance for the plant.
• Develop and manage budgets for labor, materials, overhead, and capital projects.
• Establish and implement manufacturing policies and procedures.
• Lead efforts in quality assurance, supply chain management, facility layout, equipment selection, and operational support.
• Drive productivity improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Monitor daily production requirements and report on high-priority jobs and issues.
• Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, waste, or overtime and implement solutions.
• Investigate product loss, inventory discrepancies, and low output.
• Introduce new manufacturing technologies to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Coordinate production scheduling with supervisors and managers.
• Recruit, develop, and manage leadership and key manufacturing personnel.
• Ensure successful completion of all required audits.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Promote continuous improvement in productivity, quality, customer service, and safety.
• Participate in internal auditing programs.
• Collaborate with executive and management teams to set and achieve strategic goals.
• Represent the organization in community activities.
