Job summary

Grassland Dairy Products, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment within a food manufacturing environment, focusing on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep equipment safe and efficient while minimizing downtime.

The role operates on a 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday with one set day off each week and alternating weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications, food safety requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixers, fillers, packaging lines, and processing systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using observation, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments to minimize production downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment alarms, breakdowns, and malfunctions to support continuous production and product quality.
• Support equipment changeovers, startups, shutdowns, installations, and commissioning of new or modified equipment.
• Perform facility and utility maintenance as applicable, including HVAC, boilers, compressed air systems, and other utility infrastructure.
