Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including PLC issues and AC/DC drives.
• Perform preventive maintenance following safety standards.

Grassland Dairy Products, Inc. is hiring a 1st shift Electro-Mechanical Technician to help maintain and troubleshoot the equipment that powers one of the nation's leading dairy manufacturing facilities. This is a hands‑on role for someone who's skilled in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and wants competitive pay, a stable company, and growth opportunities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical problems on production machinery, including PLC issues and AC/DC drives.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent machine failure and minimize downtime, following company and OSHA safety standards.
• Installation & Assembly: Assemble, test, and install new machinery and robotic equipment using schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• System Upgrades: Modify, calibrate, and upgrade existing equipment to improve efficiency.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and machine performance using CMS software.

Work Schedule

1st shift 6:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. This role is expected to work every other weekend to help support our 24/7 operation and keep production running strong.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is commensurate with education, experience, and relevant qualifications. This role also includes a $1.00/hour 2nd shift differential.
