Job summary

Grassland Dairy Products, Inc. in West Point, NE is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment in a food manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, and processing systems, respond to alarms, and document work in the CMMS to ensure safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (food/beverage preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/blueprints and PLC/HMI interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment per manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixers, and packaging lines.
• Diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using testing equipment and measurements.
• Complete work orders and document inspections in the CMMS.
• Respond promptly to alarms and equipment downtime to support continuous production.
• Support equipment changes, startups, shutdowns, and commissioning of new or modified equipment.
