Job summary

Toluca Plant in the United States (Illinois) is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for maintaining food manufacturing equipment and facility utilities. You will troubleshoot devices, perform preventive maintenance, and install or relocate equipment following SOPs and safety rules.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or technical degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or technology and 1–3 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience with electrical/electronic and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of safety practices including lock-out/tag-out and ARC Flash.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and PLC ladder logic.
• Proficiency with testing tools and basic hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment systems.
• Install and relocate equipment; startup and shutdown per SOPs.
• Coordinate with supervisors to schedule inspections.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep work area clean and adhere to company policies.
