Job summary

Sun Orchard in Tempe, AZ seeks a Machine Operator for 1st shift. You will operate and monitor high-speed production lines, ensure product quality, perform basic preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Familiarity with packing, filling, and palletizing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years of food production experience.
• Experience with high-speed production lines and packaging equipment.
• Experience with palletizing and forklift operation.
• Experience reading schedules and using line-control software.
• GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES in a food plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
• Move materials and finished products to maintain flow.
• Ensure package and product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep area clean and organized; practice good housekeeping.
• Document downtime and machine operations daily.
• Collaborate with maintenance for repairs.
• Attend reliably and work well in a team.
• Other duties as required.
