Job summary

Colony Brands Inc. invites applications for a Food Planning & Scheduling Internship in Monroe, Wisconsin.

The program runs January through August 2027 and provides hands-on experience in inventory planning, production scheduling, and business analytics within a dynamic food manufacturing setting. You will work with Food Planners and cross-functional teams to document processes, improve scheduling, and build dashboards that support data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Collaborative and detail-oriented student who enjoys using data to solve problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Document best practices with Food Planners and update work instructions.
• Help production scheduling to meet Build Plan targets while balancing priorities and inventory needs.
• Collaborate across departments and participate in production meetings to monitor schedules and resolve shortages.
• Update planning parameters, item settings, substitutions, and manufacturing orders for ERP execution.
• Analyze planning and inventory data and develop dashboards for actionable insights.
