Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and organizational personnel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Must be forklift certified or obtain certification within 30 days.
• Must drive a 26’-29’ ft truck or obtain certification within 30 days.
• Must possess a valid NV driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Must pass The Salvation Army Fleet Safety e-learning.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain upkeep, cleaning, repair, and organization of warehouse and grounds areas.
• Pick up, deliver, and distribute donations as assigned.
• Drive and assist with unloading trucks and the distribution of food.
• Maintain inventory logs for materials and equipment in the warehouse.
• Assist with water management for Heat Relief and toy/food distribution during holidays.
• Supervise community service workers and volunteers as assigned.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned, serviced, and repaired as needed.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse for storage and program use.
