Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Food Packer. This is a part-time position in Hueytown, AL.

Responsibilities include assembling and filling orders, receiving products, maintaining inventories, and following all safety procedures. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Verify quantity and description of products
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Communicate issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
• Follow all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Follow safety and security procedures without deviation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
• Lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp on a regular basis while loading trays with food products
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation
