Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Food Packer, Part-time to join our team in Indiana. The role involves assembling and packing orders, receiving and verifying goods, and maintaining inventories in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The ideal candidate can lift up to 50 pounds, work independently, and follow management directives while upholding AVI's safety and security policies. This position offers opportunities for growth and a supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Communicate issues to management (cleanliness, safety or security)
• Lift, carry or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp while loading trays with food products
• Stock inventory
• Comply with AVI policies and procedures, including security procedures
• Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
• Lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Move, walk, bend, reach, and grasp on a regular basis while loading trays with food products
• Stock inventory
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Follow all safety and security procedures without deviation
