Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Packaging Technician to operate packaging equipment and lift forklift duties in a full-time role in Blair, Nebraska. The position involves ensuring accurate data entry in SAP, applying product labels per quality standards, and collecting samples for quality testing.

Candidates should be able to handle physical work, work with attention to safety policies, and be able to work various shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the U.S.
• Must be at least 18 years old to work in a production facility
• Ability to perform physical job duties (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, twisting) with or without accommodation
• Ability to understand and communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment and forklifts
• Input production data into computer systems such as SAP
• Create and apply product labels per regulatory and quality standards
• Collect finished product samples and perform quality testing
• Monitor bag weights on scale
• Unloading and loading trucks/trailers and warehouse racking system materials and finished product
• Perform required production tasks to prepare equipment for packaging of different products and packaging types
