Job summary

NATURE is seeking a Packer to operate on a fast-moving production line, interfacing with equipment and a wide selection of food items. The role involves packing, inspecting for defects, weighing materials, and recording production data on specified forms.

Shifts are 2nd; 1:30pm-10:00pm, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed, and a shift differential is available. The position offers entry to mid-level responsibilities on a manufacturing line with potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for adding goods into their correct mass flow containers and preparing them for disbursement.
• Cleans and prepares containers before placing goods in them.
• Inspects materials and products for defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Weighs or measures materials or products to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Identifies and marks materials, products, and samples, following instructions.
• Records production and operational information and data on specified forms.
• Modifies materials and products during manufacturing process to meet requirements.
• Moves controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.
• Feeds materials into machines and equipment to process and manufacture products.
• Loads materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.
• Removes materials and products from machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.
• Off bears materials and products from machines and equipment, using hand tools.
• And all other duties required in the packing and feeder position
