Job summary

PRI Global is seeking a Food Microbiology Laboratory Specialist to support in-house food microbiology testing and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with food microbiology testing, media preparation, microbiological analysis, plating, and sample processing.

Microbiology experience is the most important qualification for this role. Food Science experience is a plus but is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on food microbiology testing experience preferred.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, candidates must have 5+ years of relevant food microbiology work experience.
• Strong hands-on microbiology laboratory experience is required.
• Experience with food ingredients, finished products, and/or environmental samples is highly preferred.
