Job summary

FGF Brands in Brownsburg, IN is seeking a Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-volume food manufacturing equipment. The role prioritizes personnel and food safety at all times.

You will operate and maintain plant systems (air, HVAC, steam), read electrical schematics, and use SAP CMMS for work orders. Minimum 4 years in maintenance preferred; food industry experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in a maintenance environment or equivalent education.
• Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Food industry preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, and sensors.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant and facility equipment (air, HVAC, steam, etc.).
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Complete maintenance projects and work orders in a timely manner.
• Use CMMS (SAP) to manage work orders and parts.
• Diagnose problems and provide practical solutions to equipment breakdowns.
