The Staff Management | SMX team in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring a Food Manufacturing Machine Operator. As a member of this factory team, you will assist in manufacturing chocolate, protein bars, and granola bars. The pay rate ranges from $15.78 to $20.60 per hour, with weekly paychecks, health benefits, and more.

This is a full-time position available for the following shifts:

• A Shift: 7am to 3pm
• B Shift: 3pm to 11pm
• C Shift: 11pm to 7am

Applicants must have reliable transportation.

Job Responsibilities

• Measure and mix dry ingredients according to recipes
• Safely lift and handle large sacks of ingredients and transport them to mixing stations
• Operate industrial mixers and blending equipment
• Shovel mixed ingredients into carts and transport to the manufacturing line
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas to meet hygiene standards
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions
• Keep accurate records of ingredients and production details
• Operate and monitor production machines
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
• Use personal protective equipment and perform assembly tasks
• Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery
• Inspect products for quality control
• Assist with repairs and inspections

Qualifications include at least 6 months of experience in food production or manufacturing, ability to lift 50 pounds, and a high school diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are required.
