Job summary

The Exchange is seeking a motivated individual to join its Acclimation/Development Program in Fort Drum, NY, to learn the full scope of facility operations under experienced supervision. The role supports daily food facility operations while gaining hands-on experience in supervision, customer service, staffing, and training.

Selected candidate will develop financial and business acumen to help run a successful facility, with mobility to relocate to Exchange locations within the Eastern Region

Qualifications

• Mobility required – relocation to any Exchange location within the Eastern Region after program completion.
• Must complete ServSafe certification within 90 days of program completion or placement.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the daily operation of a food facility to ensure compliance with Exchange policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational requirements.
• Participates in structured training activities to develop operational, leadership, and supervisory competencies.
• Supports customer service operations by promoting service standards and assisting in the resolution of customer concerns.
• Assists with financial and business operations, including monitoring sales performance, supporting inventory control, cash handling, and expense management.
• Collaborates with Exchange leadership to identify operational issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and adaptability while pursuing placement into a permanent retail management position.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements

• Mobility Required - Upon successful completion of Acclimation/Development Program candidates will be required to relocate to any Exchange location within Eastern Region.
• Eligible candidates may receive Relocation Benefits for post program placement.

Salary Minimum

$54,533.00
