Job summary

Salm Partners, LLC is a leading producer of ready-to-eat sausages and related products. We seek a logistics professional to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, schedule trucks, and ensure accurate documentation across our Wisconsin facilities.

Responsibilities include communicating with carriers, customers, and internal teams; maintaining inventory accuracy; supporting Lean and safety initiatives; and ensuring compliance with USDA requirements.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is typically required.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, inventory control, or related manufacturing environment preferred, ideally USDA-regulated.
Experience coordinating shipments, transportation schedules, inventory transactions, or receiving activities; forklift and material handling experience required.

Responsibilities

Schedule inbound and outbound trucks daily.
Perform activities related to product and material shipments, including recordkeeping, reporting, tracking, and documentation.
Check in inbound/outbound drivers and assist with shipping/receiving.
Create and maintain Sales Orders aligned with production and transportation schedules; communicate changes to customers, carriers, and internal partners.
Schedule outbound FedEx and UPS shipments.
Coordinate intercompany shuttles between facilities and communicate schedules to relevant personnel.
Maintain receiving documentation for inbound raw materials and packaging.
