Job summary

PureField Ingredients in Russell, KS is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Food Ingredients Facility. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure continuous plant operations.

The role requires adherence to SQF/FSMA, PPE, and safety procedures; schedule is Monday–Friday with on-call rotations; no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to monitor equipment, select appropriate tools, and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and perform preventive maintenance as instructed.
• Conduct plant walkthroughs to inspect equipment and address maintenance needs.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication of parts and equipment.
• Assist with installation, adjustment, and replacement of production machinery.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate progress with supervisors.
• Maintain an organized parts warehouse and ensure sanitation per procedures.
• Follow Safe Work procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Adhere to SQF and FSMA policies during maintenance activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
