U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, seeks a Supervisory Social Work Program Coordinator to lead the Food Hub program and supervise a multidisciplinary team in Los Angeles, CA.

You will coordinate clinical program development and ensure timely access to food assistance and nutrition resources for Veterans. The role emphasizes leadership, program coordination, and collaboration with internal VA programs and community partners to expand food security

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Licensed or certified to independently practice social work at the master's level.
• Experience demonstrating advanced practice skills and supervision capability.

Responsabilités

• Leads and manages the VA Food Hub Program focused on reducing food insecurity among Veterans and their families.
• Oversees a multidisciplinary team and coordinates daily Food Hub operations including pantry services and nutrition resources.
• Ensures Veterans receive timely access to food assistance, nutrition education, and referrals to VA/community services.
• Develops partnerships with food banks and community agencies to expand resources.
• Tracks program effectiveness and recommends improvements to services and policies.
• Provides staff supervision and clinical guidance to unlicensed workers and trainees.
