Job summary

Kroger Manufacturing is seeking a warehouse operator responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, safety, quality, and timely order fulfillment. You will operate various warehouse machines/equipment, follow standard work, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting Kroger's Customer 1st strategy.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety PPE, accurate documentation, and participation in Total Process Control (TPC) activities to ensure world-class quality across the plant.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned machines and related equipment to meet daily orders.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Monitor product quality to meet standards.
• Read and follow standard warehouse work.
• Operate warehouse equipment, vehicles, and hand tools.
• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
• Complete safety observations and required paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Ensure proper components at the workstation before starting a job.
• Oversee warehouse operations and participate in related activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and overtime as needed.
• Follow programs to produce safe, quality foods meeting regulatory and company requirements.
• Be accountable to Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Work around ingredients/allergens as required.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
