Job summary

Kroger is seeking a manufacturing operator to oversee machine operation, changeovers, and adherence to SQR principles. The role emphasizes safety, quality, reliability, and our Customer 1st strategy in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will follow standard work, monitor product quality, and complete required documentation while maintaining a clean work area and supporting Total Process Control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective written communication skills, including legibility.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the assigned machine and related equipment to meet daily orders.
• Follow safety procedures including wearing all required PPE.
• Read and follow standard work for the assigned machine.
• Follow all standard work processes.
• Verify proper components at the workstation before beginning a job.
• Monitor product to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Participate in Total Process Control activities.
• Be able to work around ingredients/allergens and safety requirements.
• Produce safe, high-quality foods meeting regulatory and company requirements.
