Job summary

Grande seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability and efficiency of cheese and whey production. You will manage projects, perform maintenance tasks, and maintain records in the CMMS system.

Compliance with USDA, FDA, SQF and OSHA is required, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. You will work on a 2-2-3 rotation, with night shift premium and weekend premium to reflect shift hours.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to learn advanced mechanical and electrical technical skills.
• Good math and problem solving skills.
• Mechanical knowledge including machine guarding and belt alignment.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge for repair and maintenance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLCs and/or programming.
• Electrical concepts including control wiring and panels.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, welding, fabrication, lubrication and filter changes.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records for work orders and parts inventory.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management and teams to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
