Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Food Farmacy Driver to deliver nutritious food and connect patients with community resources. You will join the Food Farmacy team delivering nutrition and compassionate service to patients in need.

Responsibilities include packing orders, safe deliveries, navigating routes with GPS, maintaining records, and supporting the team to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases experience preferred.

  The posted range is the budgeted amount for this position. The actual rate of pay will be determined based on several factors, including your relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and alignment with Meritus Health’s compensation practices.

As a Food Farmacy Driver, you'll do more than transport food. You'll help connect patients with resources that support their wellness while providing friendly, reliable service that makes a positive impact every day.

What You'll Do

• Package food orders accurately and safely for delivery.
• Deliver food directly to patients in a professional, timely, and compassionate manner.
• Operate program vehicles safely while following all transportation policies and procedures.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting food and supplies.
• Utilize maps, GPS technology, and other tools to navigate delivery routes efficiently.
• Maintain delivery records and required documentation.
• Support the Food Farmacy team in providing a reliable and high-quality patient experience.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer coursework or experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems preferred.

Experience

• Previous transportation, delivery, driving, or customer service experience preferred.

Licensure & Certification

• Current BLS (CPR) certification in accordance with organizational policy.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets organizational and legal requirements.
• No moving violations within the past three years preferred.
• Ability to provide a certified driving record as required.
• Willingness to comply with Meritus vehicle use and safety policies.
