Qualifications

• Prior experience in machine maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Comfortable learning new and specialized machinery.
• Dependable and able to work independently.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to follow a maintenance schedule without constant supervision.
• Safety-conscious and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and operational issues.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance of production machinery (pasteurizers, plate heat exchangers, homogenizers, VFFS machines, continuous freezers, pumps, belts, motors, water loops, cooling systems, tanks).
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and document completed work.
• Maintain repair and maintenance records to support food safety and SQF compliance.
• Identify equipment issues and communicate repair needs appropriately.
• Help improve maintenance procedures and prevent future equipment issues.
• Keep tools and maintenance areas clean and organized; account for tools before/after maintenance.
• Perform general facility maintenance (doors, walls, ceilings, floors, lighting, drains, plumbing, general building repairs).
