Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production in a food manufacturing environment. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work in CMMS while following safety policies.

The role emphasizes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, working in refrigerated areas, and collaborating with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related technical program preferred; equivalent maintenance experience will be considered.
• One to two years of industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60-80 pounds as required.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and technical documentation.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated production environments and potentially in freezer areas.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment using hand and trade tools.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including starters, contactors, relays, motors, and control circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities on production and facility equipment according to established procedures.
• Support the operation of machinery and equipment by following maintenance schedules and engineering specifications.
• Utilize CMMS to document labor, preventive maintenance activities, corrective actions, and work orders.
