Job summary

Walmart Southaven, MS is seeking a Technician, Facility Services for Food Equipment to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment, manage work orders, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

The role requires strong hands-on skills, logical troubleshooting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification in a related trade, with 2 years’ experience.
• 4 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on food equipment, facilities, and fixtures.
• Inspect, repair, and test equipment to diagnose issues.
• Respond to emergency calls and manage work orders and maintenance logs.
