The Samaritan Inn in McKinney, TX is seeking a Food Donations Assistant to support our food donation program. You will handle pickups, receiving, inventory, and distribution to residents and partner agencies.
Responsibilities include daily donation pickups, safe handling and transport of goods, accurate data entry into inventory systems, FIFO rotation, stocking of storage areas, and assistance with volunteer supervision as needed.

Position Title: Food Donations Assistant
Reports to: Donations Director
Pay Range: $20 - $22 per hour
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Compensation is commensurate with experience and aligned with the organization’s salary structure and budget.
Summary of the Job
The Food Donations Assistant provides operational support for The Samaritan Inn's food donation program through food pickups, receiving, inventory management, and distribution. This position helps ensure donated food is collected safely, accurately recorded, properly stored, and distributed efficiently to support residents and community partners.
