Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join an excellent team in a food distribution environment with ambient, refrigerated, and freezer areas. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a positive attitude as you support loading, inventory, and order fulfillment.

Compensation starts at $20.35 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with weekend schedules (Fri-Sun or Thu-Sat) and benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, and boot allowance after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and warehouse equipment as applicable.
• Transport items from warehouse to plant or to packing areas.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading and unload trailers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with safety requirements.
• Read work orders and determine materials and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units moved using production sheets or tickets.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare parcels for shipping.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Use computer to enter records and update inventory.
