Future Opening: Food Distribution Picker/Packer

Hudson Table is a cooking class, catering & private events company with four locations in Hoboken, Philadelphia, Stamford & Brooklyn. We are in need of a picker/packer at our Fulfillment Center located in Moonachie, NJ to pick and pack orders for each of the locations.

This role is crucial in selecting, packing and preparing products to be sent to our locations to execute all classes & events.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking

• Accurately select products from storage areas according to order lists.
• Ensure the correct quantity of items is picked and verify product details.
• Use handheld devices to accurately note all items picked.

Packing

• Carefully pack items into containers, ensuring that products are properly protected and organized for shipment.

Inventory Management

• Assist in organizing and maintaining accurate stock levels in the warehouse.
• Report any discrepancies in inventory or damaged products to supervisors.

Loading

• Assist in loading trucks with packed orders when necessary.

Quality Control

• Assist in conducting final checks on picked and packed orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspect packaging materials and products to ensure they meet food safety and quality standards.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

Efficiency and Productivity

• Meet or exceed daily productivity targets by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations and workflows.

Compensation

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
