Walmart is seeking a dedicated leader to drive development of store teams, enhance customer service, and manage day-to-day operations across the Windham, ME area. The role emphasizes teaching, feedback, and a culture of belonging while aligning to Walmart’s strategic objectives and community initiatives.

The position focuses on developing associates, improving merchandise presentation, and implementing business solutions across the store.

Competenze

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying may require a current state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates and promotes a sense of belonging in the workplace.
• Coordinates job-related activities and assignments, builds relationships with stakeholders, and measures progress toward results.
