Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service with strong product knowledge in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, help locate items, and ensure displays are attractive and well-stocked.

This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement within a family-oriented company. You’ll engage with teammates across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, using technology to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining

Qualifications

Provide outstanding customer service with product knowledge and a friendly attitude.
Assist customers and guests with product location and information.
Maintain clean, appealing, and organized store displays and shelves.

Responsibilities

Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
