Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver remarkable customer service with product knowledge and a friendly attitude. You will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising in a fast-paced environment.

You will build positive connections with customers, help them find what they need, and maintain attractive displays across Fresh departments. Physical activity and teamwork are part of daily shifts.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product per standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
