Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments.

You’ll provide product knowledge, assist customers, and ensure displays are clean, fresh, and well-stocked to create a welcoming store experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers daily, learning our technology, and collaborating across departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
