Job summary

SGS is seeking a qualified laboratory analyst to handle samples, run analyses, and ensure accuracy in testing per procedures. The role requires maintaining equipment, documenting quality activities, and reporting any deficiencies to supervision.

Experience with HPLC and LIMS is essential to ensure precise analyses and compliant results. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, or have commercial laboratory experience, with at least three years in a similar lab

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.
Experience with using HPLC.
3+ years of laboratory experience in related work.
Basic computer skills: Office 365; familiarity with LIMS.

Responsibilities

Handles samples and performs analyses according to procedures and test methodology.
Maintains and verifies laboratory equipment.
Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Maintains records of quality activities per procedures and test methods.
Identifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests.
Operates laboratory equipment including HPLC.
