Job summary

SGS is seeking a qualified laboratory analyst to handle samples, run analyses, and ensure accuracy in testing per procedures. The role requires maintaining equipment, documenting quality activities, and reporting any deficiencies to supervision.

Experience with HPLC and LIMS is essential to ensure precise analyses and compliant results. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, or have commercial laboratory experience, with at least three years in a similar lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Experience with using HPLC.
• 3+ years of laboratory experience in related work.
• Basic computer skills: Office 365; familiarity with LIMS.

Job Description

• Handles samples and performs analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodology
• Maintains and verifies equipment
• Reports deficiencies or malfunction to the supervisor
• Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methods
• Identifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests.
• Regularly operates laboratory equipment such as HPLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience
• Experience with using HPLC instrument
• 3+ years of prior laboratory experience in related work
• Computer Skills: Basic use of Microsoft Office 365 Suite required, experience with LIMS system
