Job summary

Thunderbird Casino is seeking Food & Beverage team members to provide restaurant style service across the casino floor. You will take orders, prepare food, handle transactions, and maintain strict food safety standards.

The role requires standing for long periods, attention to alcohol service laws, and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Absentee Shawnee preference applies; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must maintain compliance with heath/ABLE/internal Policy and procedures at all times.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to learn how the grill functions.
• Ability to perform basic math functions; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Knowledgeable of Federal/state/Tribal Employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Take food orders and operate the cash register.
• Prepare food from recipes and manage portion control.
• Handle cash and card transactions.
• Ensure food temperatures are safe at all times.
• Stock and clean work areas and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with health/ABLE/internal policy.
• Complete end of shift paperwork.
• Identify intoxicated patrons and comply with ABLE laws.
