Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Food & Beverage operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead servers, bartenders, banquet staff, and other F&B team members as assigned.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, professional service.
• Monitor outlets to maintain established standards.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and prep.
• Assign duties and provide direction to associates.
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing F&B associates.
• Monitor associate performance and address service or operational concerns promptly.
• Respond professionally to guest questions and concerns and assist with service recovery.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor cleanliness and readiness of F&B areas.
• Assist with banquet and event setup and execution.
• Coordinate with culinary team for accurate and timely food service.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and operational controls.
• Support cash-handling and POS procedures.
• Communicate with F&B leadership and other hotel departments.
• Maintain staffing and productivity based on business levels.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, professional environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.

Four Points by Sheraton Tampa Airport Westshore, managed by StepStone Hospitality, is seeking an energetic and guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

The Food & Beverage Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for the hotel's front-of-house Food & Beverage operations while ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient daily operations, and consistent adherence to hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily Food & Beverage operations during assigned shifts.
• Provide hands-on leadership to servers, bartenders, banquet associates, and other Food & Beverage team members as assigned.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, efficient, and attentive service.
• Monitor restaurant, bar, banquet, and other Food & Beverage service areas to ensure established standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and ensure assigned areas are properly prepared for service.
• Assign duties and provide direction to associates based on business volume and operational needs.
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing Food & Beverage associates.
• Monitor associate performance and address service or operational concerns promptly.
• Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns and assist with service recovery when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, appearance, and readiness of Food & Beverage areas.

• Support proper cash-handling and point-of-sale procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage leadership and other hotel departments regarding operational needs and guest concerns.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing and productivity based on business levels.

• Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous Food & Beverage experience required, preferably in a hotel, full-service restaurant, bar, banquet, or hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or shift-leader experience preferred.
• Strong guest-service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide direction and support to associates while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant and/or bar service standards.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.
• Food safety and responsible alcohol-service certifications preferred or ability to obtain required certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with restaurant, banquet, and Food & Beverage operations.
