Job summary

A leading hospitality company is seeking an energetic Food & Beverage Supervisor for their Westin-Element Huntsville location. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of supervisory experience in food and beverage, excellent communication skills, and a passion for service excellence. This position involves overseeing staff, ensuring high service standards, and will require flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and lift/carry heavy trays weighting at least 25-30 pounds
  • Current alcohol permit and Food Handler Certification Required

  • Previous bartending experience
  • Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and lift/carry heavy trays weighting at least 25-30 pounds
  • Current alcohol permit and Food Handler Certification Required

Job Description

  • Monitor food & beverage staff and ensure service delivery exceeds guest expectations.

  • Be hands on and physically support food & beverage and banquet staff to ensure guests are taken care of and business needs are consistently met.
  • Train new hires.
  • Inspect sidework to ensure opening and closing duties are consistently practiced.
  • Resolve guest related issues or complaints regarding service and food and beverages.
