Job summary

Turnberry Ocean Colony in Sunny Isles, FL, seeks a dedicated Server for our luxury non-tip restaurant. This full-time role (40 hours) features morning shifts from 10am to 5pm outdoors at the pool/beach restaurant and indoor evening shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 11pm.

As a Server, you will greet residents and guests, deliver beverages and meals, maintain wine and beverage knowledge, and uphold impeccable service standards in a high-end residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting residents upon arrival at the restaurant.
• Wine Knowledge: thorough understanding of wines-by-the-glass program, wine cellar, service techniques (decanting, glassware), and beer/non-alcoholic offerings.
• Beverage Expertise: knowledge of cocktails, spirits, history, and flavor profiles.
• Resident Engagement: anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional service.
• Providing excellent customer service during dining experience.
• Taking feedback from residents; cleaning tables following standards.
• Carrying drinks and food from kitchen/bar to tables.
• Memorizing the food menu and wine list and nightly specials.
• Setting tables throughout the shift.
• Understanding food safety and how viruses and bacteria can spread.
• Familiarity with local food safety regulations and laws.
• Ongoing training & certifications.

We are a non-tip luxury residential community, which is why we offer a higher hourly rate. The schedule is primarily morning shifts (10am–5pm) working outdoors in a covered pool/beach restaurant, with indoor evening shifts (Tues & Thurs, 5pm–11pm). This is a full-time, 40-hour position. Position Summary

Ensure the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by offering prompt, professional, courteous, and dedicated services. Actively contribute to the department in order to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects. Overall, this position is responsible for and dedicated to providing recognition, satisfaction, and value to the residents and their guests, while continuously improving efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service standards. We are a non-tipped, luxury residential environment. To reflect that, we offer a higher hourly rate in place of gratuities. This is a full-time, 40-hour position, primarily scheduled for morning shifts starting at 10am
