Job summary

The Stellar Group is seeking a Process Engineer in Jacksonville, FL, to lead design and implementation of process solutions for food and beverage manufacturing. This role emphasizes raw material handling, thermal processing, mixing, filling, and food safety compliance, with cross-functional collaboration to deliver fully developed systems.

Responsibilities include designing processes, engineering equipment, supporting procurement and installation, and overseeing startup and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 1–7 years experience in food/beverage manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge of 3A, USDA or FDA sanitation requirements.
• Experience with process design and EPC/design-build projects helpful.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, Procore and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design processes to achieve project goals and define processing steps for food/beverage products.
• Engineer process equipment and systems; size/select equipment and develop P&ID's and specs.
• Support procurement, bid packages, reviews, and coordination with subcontractors.
• Assist in installation, site coordination, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain awareness of food manufacturing trends and safety compliance.
