Three Rivers Casino - Coos Bay is seeking a Prep Cook to support the café by preparing ingredients, washing and chopping vegetables, and cooking according to recipes. The role requires 18+ with a Food Handlers Card within 30 days and compliance with tribal gaming licensing rules.

You will work in a kitchen environment, maintain safety and sanitation standards, and support other kitchen tasks as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend shifts and event coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally or in writing.
• Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
• Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Prepare and produce foods according to daily production list.

• Rotate and date foods; follow FIFO procedures.
• Organize walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
• Maintain par levels as set by the Café Chef.

• Complete side work including cleaning floors and mats.
• Assist in other kitchen areas as directed by management.

Starting Wage: $18.00 hourThe Prep Cook is responsible for preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESBased on daily production list prepares and produces foods as requested.Safely uses sharp knives as well as electrical slicing and mixing equipment following TRCR safety policies.Keeps all foods dated and rotated as required per the first in first out procedure.Ensures the organization of the walk-in refrigerators and freezer.Maintains all par levels as set by the Café Chef.Closely follows procedures and recipes set forth by the Café Chef.Properly cleans and sanitizes prep work and other kitchen areas as assigned by Manager.Completes assigned side work duties including cleaning floors and mats and disposing of waste.Closely follows the F&B department health and personal hygiene policy.Assist in other areas of the kitchen as directed by Manager.Other duties as directed by management.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor.
