This position supports the Director of Food and Beverage in managing outlets, including planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure efficient operations, staffing, training, and scheduling, delivering quality service that exceeds guest expectations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal staffing levels for performance.
- Represent the Director of Food and Beverage in their absence.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and guidelines.
- Oversee smooth, cost-effective outlet operations, including labor management and inventory control.
- Supervise outlet activities to ensure quality service and product delivery.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage departmental requisitions and control operational costs within budget.
- Review payroll and adjust staffing based on business needs.
- Coordinate with culinary staff regarding reservations and VIPs.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff according to standards.
- Participate in training programs and evaluate employee performance for improvement and advancement.
- Attend hotel and departmental meetings to stay informed and communicate effectively.
- Assess guest needs and industry trends to recommend service and operational improvements.
- Work on the restaurant floor during peak times to ensure service quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associate of Science degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service Management.
- Knowledge of upscale food service operations.
- At least two years of management experience in hotel or quality food service.
- Certification as Food Service Manager or ability to obtain it.
- Strong management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
