Rusty Lantern Markets is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to guide a fast-paced kitchen in our Central District stores. You will train staff, ensure menu items meet recipes and food-safety standards, and drive a high-quality guest experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to manage costs and lead a small team in real time, with travel within the district during training and transition to a stationary kitchen. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Run daily kitchen operations and ensure all food is prepared to recipe, standard, and food-safety requirements.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members using available tools and standard practices.
• Make sure every guest gets a great experience through high-quality food and friendly service.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, prep lists, production flow, and kitchen schedules.
• Lead and coach a team of approximately 2–5 in real time; motivate and grow them.
• Enforce standards and implement action plans, write-ups, or terminations when needed.
• Manage food cost, labor, waste, and daily operational controls.
• Work closely with store leadership and other departments to keep things running smoothly.
• Help implement new menu items and support changes as our food program grows.
