Our network of 450 venues worldwide, hosting 20,000 events and entertaining 165 million guests each year, is powered by our depth of expertise and level of execution across every component — feasibility & consulting, owner’s representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and content & booking — of world-class live events and venues.**THE ROLE**Under the leadership of the General Manager and the Food & Beverage Director the Concessions Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the Concessions operations at the Toledo Complex. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*** Responsible for assisting in operating within budget, managing monthly P&L statements and ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate.* Foster a partnership with the Client to deliver on fan experiences for all events.* Create and foster a positive team member experience.* Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to the staff responsible for executing the team business plan.* Sustain cost as it pertains to labour and operating supplies, work within budgeted guidelines.* Provide efficient service and quality products by maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment; create a working relationship with local health officials.* Ensure unit compliance with federal, provincial, local, and Legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol.* Ensure proper hiring, promoting associates per Legends standards and CBA.* Preserving existing programs and developing new concepts to ensure the highest possible quality of food and service.* Oversee inventory for concessions operations and assist in developing yearly operational budgets.* Scheduling of hourly staff as required.* Adhering to all Legends and Client policies and processes.* Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities are required. **QUALIFICATIONS*** The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years' management experience in the high volume foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue.* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.* Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.* Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives and guests in a positive and professional manner.* Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.* Must be able to work in a team environment.* Knowledge of accounting procedures, POS Systems and inventory management systems is preferred.* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. **COMPENSATION**Competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan. **WORKING CONDITIONS****Location: On Site Toledo Complex Toledo, OH** **PHYSICAL DEMANDS**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
