We are seeking a skilled and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to take the lead at Toast to Toast, our full‑service restaurant situated within the Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando I-Drive – Theme Parks.

Our restaurant offers a delightful array of modern American cuisine, specialty coffees, breakfast dishes, small plates, dinner entrees, desserts, and an extensive bar featuring creative cocktails. The Food & Beverage Manager will play a vital role in crafting the overall guest experience by overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional service for both hotel guests and local patrons.

Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the management of all restaurant/bar functions in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Essential Job Functions
Operational Leadership
  • Manage daily restaurant and bar operations, including breakfast service, coffee bar, lunch, dinner, and cocktail service.
  • Oversee setup of all dining and bar areas, ensuring proper placement and inspection of linens, glassware, silver, and china.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B outlets.
Team Management
  • Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Supervise floor operations during service periods to ensure service standards are consistently met.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to meet business demands efficiently.
Guest Experience
  • Ensure staff delivers attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service.
  • Resolve guest concerns and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation.
  • Solicit guest feedback to continuously improve food and beverage offerings.
Food & Beverage Quality
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all menus and food products.
  • Collaborate with culinary and bar teams on menu development and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor food and beverage preparation for quality, presentation, temperature, and timeliness.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and adherence to financial procedures.
  • Utilize POS and computer systems for reporting, forecasting, and communication.
  • Complete daily and monthly reports, including food, beverage, and inventory counts.
  • Assist with special event planning, tastings, holiday functions, and catering menu development.
Marketing & Compliance
  • Support marketing and social media efforts, ensuring menus, promotions, and online content remain current.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, Health & Sanitation, Alcohol Beverage Control, Wage & Hour).
  • Maintain required certifications, including TIPS or equivalent alcohol service training.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • 1‑2+ years of management experience in hotel required.
  • Food Handler/Safe Serv certification as required.
  • Applicable state certifications and brand training as required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Satisfactory criminal background screening required - Valid driver’s license and safe driving record may be required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for entire shift, balance, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, smell, taste and perform repetitive motions that require manual dexterity. This position requires the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. The employee is required to have visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, operate machinery and tools, determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of food and make general observations of facilities. This position is primarily indoors and may subject the employee to high or cold temperatures from machinery and moderate noise level.

Expected Hours of Work

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights and weekends.
