Job summary

KemperSports Management is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager for the Mansfield Sports Park campus in Central Point, Oregon. The role leads two on-site restaurants, multiple concessions, and catering operations, driving profitability and guest satisfaction across all outlets.

You will recruit and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, oversee budgeting, purchasing, and inventory, and coordinate with marketing for promotions and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree required/preferred.
• 5 years of applicable supervisory/management experience, ideally in golf or related hospitality.
• Strong budget development, fiscal management and strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; flexible hours including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance in all situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual F&B operating plan and budget aligned with revenue goals and guest experience standards.
• Manage all F&B outlets across the park including restaurants, concessions, and catering spaces.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise all F&B front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards per regulations.
• Implement and monitor purchasing and inventory systems to control costs.
• Collaborate with marketing/programming teams to promote events and drive guest spend.
• Maintain relationships with vendors to optimize product quality and pricing.
• Lead planning and execution of F&B service for internal events, tournaments, and rentals.
• Coordinate kitchen and service staff for consistent guest experience and culinary execution.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and certifications (TIPS/R.A.M.).
• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement service recovery to uphold hospitality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends to evolve the Mansfield Sports Park F&B program.

The Jackson County Sports & Events Complex is a premier, multi‑use indoor facility currently under development in Central Point, Oregon, with a targeted opening of January 2027. Spanning approximately 118,000 square feet, the facility is being designed as a flexible, high‑performance venue capable of hosting a wide range of sports, community programming, and large‑scale events.

The complex will feature a combination of indoor hard courts, and adaptable event areas, allowing it to support youth and amateur sports tournaments, local recreation programming, and regional events. In addition to its sports‑focused design, the facility includes multiple meeting and event rooms, positioning it to host conventions, community gatherings, and non‑sporting events—creating a true year‑round community asset.

A unique component of the facility is its dual‑use design as a regional emergency and pandemic response center, reinforcing its importance as critical infrastructure for Jackson County. This multi‑purpose functionality requires thoughtful operational planning, adaptability, and strong coordination with public agencies.

Position Summary:

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the strategic and day‑to‑day leadership of all food and beverage operations across the Mansfield Sports Park campus. This includes the management of two on‑site restaurants, multiple concession points, fast‑casual and counter service areas, and all banquet and catering functions. This individual will lead a diverse team of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house professionals, ensuring exceptional service, high‑quality offerings, and profitability across all outlets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the annual food and beverage operating plan and budget to ensure alignment with revenue goals and guest experience standards.
• Manage all food and beverage outlets across the park, including full‑service restaurants, counter service locations, and banquet/catering spaces.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all F&B FOH team members, including service staff, kitchen staff, and event/catering personnel.
• Ensure consistent adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Implement and monitor purchasing and inventory systems to maintain appropriate stock levels and manage cost controls across all units.
• Collaborate with marketing and programming teams to develop promotions, packages, and event‑driven activations to increase guest spending and enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize product quality and pricing.
• Lead the planning and execution of food and beverage service for internal events, tournaments, banquets, and external rentals.
• Ensure seamless communication and coordination between kitchen and service staff to maintain consistency in guest service and culinary execution.
• Uphold compliance with TABC guidelines and all alcohol service regulations; maintain certifications for responsible alcohol management programs (e.g., TIPS or R.A.M.).
• Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback loops and service recovery efforts to maintain a high standard of hospitality across all touchpoints.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging concepts, and guest expectations to evolve the Mansfield Sports Park food and beverage program.

• Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management.
• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
