Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our outstanding F&B team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Outlets and F&B leaders to support our outlets in providing guests with an outstanding Food and Beverage operation according to corporate standards of product and service. To ensure the overall success of the restaurant through guest satisfaction surveys and financial controls. We have just begun a hotel renovation that will include our restaurants, offering an opportunity to participate in developing the concept and relaunching a new and elevated hotel restaurant and coffee shop!

Salary for this position (based on experience): $65,000 - $70,000/year. Full-time associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k, and Paid Time Off. The resort reserves the right to adjust compensation based on factors unrelated to sex or race.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine service standards.
• Manage inventory of china, silver, glassware, linens, and uniforms through proper forecasting and communication.
• Assist in menu development and refinement of daily specials.
• Ensure compliance with corporate F&B policies and procedures.
• Support associate development through cross-training programs.
• Review purchase requests and maintain accurate wine inventories and updates.
• Oversee physical maintenance of outlets and related areas.
• Analyze financial performance and participate in budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct menu engineering and competitive pricing analysis.
• Ensure proper cashier procedures and adherence to productivity ratios.
• Plan and coordinate team meetings and staff schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive personality.
• Well-organized and efficient.
• Knowledge of Micros preferred.
• Food Handlers & TIPS/Alcohol Safety certifications required prior to starting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of Food & Beverage management experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
