Job summary

Streamsong Golf Resort is seeking a Restaurant Director to plan and manage the Restaurant operations, aligning daily activities with financial goals and guest satisfaction. The role may supervise a lounge or bar, implement promotional ideas, and oversee budgets and forecasts.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in a related hospitality role, with advanced leadership, communication, and food & beverage management skills to drive revenue and guest experience across outlets.

Qualifications

• Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience.
• Experience: Four to five years in a related role with Streamsong Resort or another organization.
• Strong communication skills to negotiate, persuade, sell, and influence other managers, guests, and corporate clients.
• Advanced knowledge of Food and Beverage/Hospitality management; ability to analyze complex activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Food and Beverage outlets.
• Develop and manage the division's annual budget, forecasts, and marketing plans to meet goals.
• Implement and manage all company programs to ensure SOP/LSOP compliance and safety regulations.
• Market outlets; develop menus, promotions, and displays within guidelines to increase in-house guests and market share.
• Oversee HR within the division: recruitment, training, coaching, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain sanitation of F&B areas and equipment; protect assets and ensure quality service.
• Respond to guest trends and issues to ensure quality experience and future sales.
• Develop menus and backups to continually improve revenues and margins.

Plan and manage the Restaurant as appropriate to achieve customer (guest, associate, corporate, and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting and exceeding financial goals. The position is responsible for the short-term planning and daily operations of the Restaurant and may manage a lounge or quiet bar. Recommends promotional ideas and procedural changes. Prepares forecasts, implements, monitors and controls the budgets for the various areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of Food and Beverage outlets.
• Develop, recommend, implement and manage the division's annual budget, business marketing plan, forecasts and objectives to meet and exceed management expectations.
• Implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with the SOPs and LSOPs; including safety and sanitary regulation, and all federal, state, and local regulations to ensure optimal levels of quality service and hospitality are provided to the guest.
• Market the Food and Beverage outlets; develop and manage the implementation of menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations, and presentations within corporate guidelines to capture more in-house guests and a larger share of the local market to meet and exceed sales and financial goals and objectives.
• Manage the Human Resources within the division. Direct and oversee recruitment and development of associates; hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews, resolve conflict through fair treatment policy, discipline, and terminate as appropriate
• Manage the maintenance and sanitation of the Food and Beverage areas and equipment in the hotel to protect the assets, comply with regulations, and ensure quality service.
• Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
• Develop and implement menus and backup, (use records, production lists, pars, training), with corporate guidelines to continually improve revenues and profit margins while maintaining quality.

Knowledge and Skills:

Education: A four year college degree or equivalent education or experience.

Experience: Four to five years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization.

Skills and Abilities: Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Food and Beverage/Hospitality profession. This includes the knowledge required for management of people, complex problems, and food and beverage management. Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities. Must possess highly developed communication skills to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guest(s), and corporate clients.
