Job summary

Pleasant Mountain is seeking Food & Beverage Line Attendants to provide top-notch service in our lodge cafeteria. Line Attendants meet guests, greet and converse, and prep food. Shifts often start at 6AM and require weekend and holiday attendance, with emphasis on reliability during peak periods.

Responsibilities include timely food preparation, sanitation, and following kitchen standards and safety guidelines. Training is provided for those new to the role.

Qualifications

• Related experience preferred but not required. Will train the right person.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

• Take direction from supervisors or chefs.
• Understand basic culinary terminology and principles.
• Maintain sanitation, according to health and safety standards.
• Prep foods according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Handle kitchen cutlery efficiently and safely.
• Cover, label, and date food items and store them properly.
• Prepare line items in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean workstation which includes cleaning and sanitizing after each task.
• Follow grooming standards, including wearing a clean uniform and nametag that can be clearly seen.
• Operate within Local, State, Federal guidelines, laws, and health codes.
